Unspoken Angels hosted a Teen Dating Forum on Stopping the Violence at Banneker High School in Atlanta Georgia for Domestic Violence month. The students were given a case study to read and discuss with the mentors assigned to their groups. They were then asked to present their findings of red flags, signs, and deal breakers of an abusive relationships. This opened up the discussion on what to do if they see or are in an abusive relationship, when to walk away and how to handle an argument.
To celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Unspoken Angels hosted an open conversation with professional, experienced panelists. Topics included were: Shame, Trust, Forgiveness, How to Tell a New Partner About Past Abuse, Signs to Look for and Healthy Relationships After Abuse.
The Inspire Brunch was a delightful outreach bringing together young ladies with the common chord of having experienced abuse. Our hope was to inspire them to let go of the past hurt associated with that abuse, practice forgiveness and move away from a victim mentality.

Students in the rural villages were able to receive notebooks, pencils, bookbags, as well as other much needed school supplies. Over 600 students were able to receive these supplies to encourage them to continue on their educational journey.
